Biography
Fayçal Lalioui, born on 3 May 1987 in Paris (France), is a Franco-Algerian entrepreneur. He lives in London and sees himself as a player in the emergence of entrepreneurship in Africa. Capital Yatirim is one of the companies he founded in 2019. The company operates in several countries, including England, Turkey, Cape Verde, Belgium and Qatar, and focuses on setting up financial mechanisms and long-term intensive investment strategies in various business markets. She invests in various sectors, such as the gold industry, real estate, hotels and Blockchain.
Born into a family of Algerian merchants, he quickly developed an interest in business and entrepreneurship. He gained solid experience working alongside his father in the family business, which dealt with meat exports abroad.
After completing his secondary education, he chose to pursue higher education in the field of finance and obtained a master’s degree from the Université Paris-Sorbonne.
In 2015, he ventured into entrepreneurship by teaming up with Senegalese architect and engineer Pierre Goudiaby, President of the Union of African Architects and the Senegalese Order of Architects. Together, they created the company « La Perle Internationale ». They have worked on property projects in several African countries, including Senegal and Cape Verde. The Gamboa Plazza, one of the first 5-star hotels in Praia, the Cape Verdean capital, is a case in point.
In 2019, he founded Capital Yatirim, a company specialising in investment, in partnership with a partner of Lebanese origin. The company is headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey. Collaborating with a number of financial experts, including Yoro Mohamed Diallo, former vice-president of Citibank in New York, he has succeeded in expanding his activities in several countries, including Cape Verde, Algeria, Belgium, Turkey, England, France and Qatar. Following the purchase of his Lebanese partner’s shares, he is now the sole owner and director of Capital Yatirim. Since then, the company has been active in business development, using a long- term investment strategy and operations on various financial markets.
In 2021, he joined forces with Opal Mining, a company that owns several gold mines in Africa, notably in Sudan. In the same year, he launched Capicoin, a company specialising in low-cost investments with a high potential return for investors.
He has acquired financial expertise, understanding the importance of raising funds to ensure the success of any project. Through his company Capital Yatirim, he has set up an « independent » financing system that integrates his companies into a « value chain » that includes financing. Aware of the importance of innovation in improving performance, he quickly became interested in new methods of financing, particularly blockchain technology.
